Coconut water has actually been used for blood transfusions as it’s incredibly similar to human blood plasma. This recipe is extremely hydrating, cleansing, and decadent. just what The Doxtor ordered.
Serves 2. Keeps for up to a day when stored in the fridge.
1 thumb-sized chunk of ginger
4 stalks celery
1 green coconut
Run all the vegetables and fruit through a juicer.
Or add everything to your VitaPrep / VitaMix and blend until smooth. Pour the mixture into a bowl, through a nut mylk bag. Strain the liquid through the bag until there’s just dry pulp in there. Discard the pulp. Pour the juice into glasses, leaving a third of space for the coconut water.
Open the young coconut and pour some of the water into the glasses slowly down the side so it just barely mixes and swirls.
Pop an umbrella and cherry on the glass for that real ecstatic cocktail feel.
