(Foxy Radio) Evie is featured in Lifescape November 2007 -- Lifescape does a food diary in each edition. This month, they looked at the diet of four under fives who are veggie, vegan or raw. They did a raw food round up this time and we got three whole mentions! Channel Five live news interview May 2007 -- I was interviewed alongside Catherine Collins about superfoods. Are they a waste of money or do they skyrocket you into a different existence where you feel endless youth, love, beauty and happiness? I wonder what Shazzle Dazzle said. The interview was so bright, I've heard Mrs Collins had to buy shades. Oh, some imp has put it on YouTube! Then later in the day they showed a clip from a prerecorded interview. Interesting that they used this particular clip of me, mentioning that superfoods create superbeings! It was a negative peice in all, which isn't surprising considering the level of brainwashing in the media, but I do believe all publicity is good publicity. I always feel that those who are supposed to get it will, and those who aren't won't. Breastfeeding interview May 2007 -- I was interviewed for the Cambridge Evening News about the governments plans to make it illegal for people to stop breastfeeders. Why anyone would want to stop a child being fed the food it's designed for is beyond me. Read the interview here in full. Guardian raw chocolate interview & article March 2007 -- Claudia interviews me again for The Guardian on the UK's raw chocolate revolution! Yey! Read the article here in full. Radio interview 8th March 2007 -- I was interviewed on the BBC for an hour on the Chris and Nicky show, which was hosted by Karen and Andy, to confuse me. We had great fun, Andy kept needing more and more chocolate. He said that usually when guests bring food they politely say that it's nice, but he said this really was nice. Oh, I should hope so! Loved it! Lifescape magazine interview February 2007 -- Claudia interviews me for the Lifescape Magazine web site. I fully support all the great work Lifescape does, and am really happy to featured in it. Read the interview here in full. Cambridge Evening News newspaper interview 27th January 2007 -- Alice Ryan interviews me about eating my way to health and happiness. A really positive article, it spans four pages and has two yummy superfooded up recipes, photos of me and Evie, and top tips on how to eat more raw food. Read the interview here in full. Observer national newspaper interview 14th January 2007 -- Daisy Garnett of The Obsersver interviews me for a feature called The truth about female stereotypes. I'm in the Earth Mothers section with my lovely mate Veronika and two other amazing women. Shazzie, 38 (actually am still only 37 until Jan 23rd!): raw chocolate revolutionary, author, managing director of Detox Your World. Is single and lives in Cambridge with her daughter, Evie, 2 1/2. I think it's really nice to be called an Earth mum. If it works in nature, then it works for me. I started eating raw food in 2000. Raw food gives you massive clarity, and you feel like a normal person, which is something we, unlike animals, don't know about. Raw food is one thing, but superfoods and raw chocolate are where it is at. I discovered raw chocolate on holiday in Maui, and when I first ate a chocolate bean it was like a whoosh in my body. Raw chocolate changes your life. Evie eats only raw food. Her teeth are great, she's taller than average, her skin, hair and nails glow, and she's never had any medication or been vaccinated. www.detoxyourworld.com Radio interview 10th January 2007 -- Chris Goreham and Nicky Barnes interviewed me for about 30 minutes on the Chris and Nicky show. It was such fun, and I was being a little bit post-Christmas cheeky. It's all the chocolate. Actually, I took some of my personal stash in with me and they got right into it. I even made the sports reader have some. Nicky said the I love U was a bit full on taste-wise, and I said "You don't eat it for the taste, love." All that maca! Anyway, they loved the interview so much, they booked me in to return there and then for the 8th of March. We'll do phone calls and everything -- I had great fun with this pair all the way... Radio interview 2nd January 2007 -- Jumoke Fashola of The Late Show on BBC Radio London interviewed me on the subject of detox. Some doctor who gives people pills has recently been touting the media saying "Detox is a myth". I come on the show (Doxtor* Shazzie) saying "I think doctors must be a myth, I haven't seen one in years!" A very productive interview! (*doxtor: someone who advocates you take responsibility for your health yourself by detoxing instead of going to a doctor. EG Doxtor Shazzie, the UK's most prolific and well-loved doxtor.) Magazine feature December 2006 -- Natural Products magazine featured an article on chocolate, and wrote about naked Chocolate and the raw chocolate revolution (above)! Interview May 2006 -- Raw Vegan Radio interviews me for about an hour. Television Diet another day, Channel 4, Wednesday 8th January, 8pm -- I was invited to give my views and experiences on "inner cleansing and detoxing" for the first in a four-part show. The show had around three million viewers, and my web site hits rose to 2000 visitors a day as a result -- they've even stayed that way! Me on Diet another day Channel 4 wrote an accompanying piece on their web site for would-be detoxers.
